Speedymoto rear set interest...possible goup buy?

The pegs speedymoto has on their website look like they were painted too. There is a definate difference in the black color from the peg to the anodized parts.

So aside from the bad paint job you got yours fitted ok?
What position are did you set them to?
Therefore did you get any rubbing of the linkage against the bellypan?
Which linkage did you use C?
Were their any cracks in yours?
Curious to know if you ran into many of the other problems me and Tapit had...

Add me to the list. I just opened my package with the rearsets and without even taking any of the individual parts out of the plastic wrapping I can see that my pegs are scratched on the back and worn down to the metal on the top side in the exact same way yours are. I won't even attempt to install these. Keeping them in the packaging until a refund/return can be arranged.

This is very dissappointing after such a long wait for these rearsets. The pegs and heel guards should be anodized black like the rest of the parts and the finish quality is not what I expected from a company like Speedymoto. Also sounds like tapit and roadsurfer are having problems with the actual function of the rearsets once they were on the bike.

Hey guys,

I just returned to the shop after driving all night from the Indy GP and I just got off the phone with Christian, the owner of SpeedyMoto.

He was definitely surprised to hear this sort of feedback, as they have always prided themselves on having great quality control and designing, creating, and selling some of the best parts around.

With that, he is taking this very seriously, and said he will begin looking into any possible problems right away to find out what exactly is going on.

I will let you all know what we find out, when we find it out, and we will go from there.

Called who? We don't show any missed calls, and it only took one call for SpeedyMoto to pickup.

You do know they are located on the west coast correct? Just in case you were calling before 9am there time.

My C linkage is cracked too, along with the scratched and ground foot peg caused by the cruddy install of the spring.

I have not installed them yet, I was waiting to see what can be done with the current issues. I really hate doing things twice. I refuse to put them on just to turn around and take them back off for a refund.
Speedymoto still has not answered the phone yet. Total BS!! I will never buy from them again.
