Speedymoto clip ons

In looking at the Speedymoto clip-ons, it looks like they have a pressed in plastic cap on them. A pair of vice grips should do it but make sure they don't require a specific Speedymoto bar end weight before removing them. Can't see them doing that but ya neva know.

I did at first... That's why they are adjustable. You don't set them up the way your OEM stuff is, you move them around and find the sweet spot for you both comfort wise and adjustment wise. I went and sat on the bike while a guy repositioned them to a placemtn which felt good to me and sat in the radius of each side without hitting anything. The FGRT803's should effect anything because the top steering tube is not a variable. I have a Speedymoto Upper triple and it gave me more room to move things around.

You might have installed them upsidown. The bar should sweep back and down. They shouldn't hit the fairing stay that easy. Also there should be a decent amount of bar sticking out thru the backside of the bar clamp, try pushing the bar in toward the bike more.

If those two things don't work, try rotating the clipons in toward the tank, or you may want to drop them down the fork a little to give you clearance at the fairing.

You did remember that they mount under the top triple clamp... right?
