Spectrum Sucked Today

Talk about poor customer handling. They had "reservations" given out all afternoon for prospective Streetfighter buyers (one of which is me, clearly). So we rode up there a little earlier than our "appointed" times...only to find a 2 hour backlog...and no Streetfighter.. Seems the not-so-smart dealer went ahead and let a skinny-shit wanker "journalist" from "Rider Review" or something lame take the ONLY bike out for a test ride. Over 2 1/2 hours later the clown shows back up, tosses the keys and walks away....while a small crowd of awaiting customers watched. How lame. I'll go to Brea, where they at least have a more professional attitude towards cash-paying customers.

I asked...but they wouldnt tell me his name.

Real dissapointment in customer handling. we have 15 bikes, including the 3 Ducs... and I'm ready to pay cash for a SF. shame, that.

surely your not surprised by this, I have 3 ducati dealers within an hour of where i live and avoid them like the plague. My tricolore now has 2 recalls on it that will prolly never get done because of bad experiences

Agree. It would have been better to let the journalist have the Street Fighter on a different date. I guess you have to be a VIP to get something at Spectrum.

The number of Ducati dealers in SoCal make it a pretty competitive market. I've bought bikes from Pro Italia and SoCal Ducati in Brea in the past and was always treated very well. Guess I don't need to bother with Spectrum in the future (unless I land a job as at a bike magazine).
