Speaker problem pontiac grand am 2000?

I bought a pontiac grand am 2000 for a very good price, but the passenger door has been replaces still looks good though. The one thing is that on the passenger side the front and back speaker do not work. They do not look like they have been blown out but how would i check something like this to see if there is just some wire not hooked up or if I need to replace the speakers?
