Spasm under my left rib?

I have glandular fever and i completely forgot and had a few drinks last night, and drinking alcohol puts pressure on my liver so i shouldn't drink it. and last night when i went to sleep i felt a constant spasm/twitching underneath my left rib, and it's started again just now and it's been a day. is this because of alcohol? is it my liver? please help!
