What should we do about spammers?

Ignore them completely, absolutely. Even if they "touch" a nerve...just bite your lip and DON'T REPLY.

Let admin take care of them.

Agree with Big Orn; spammers are trying to get a rise out of someone. If we don't take the bait, they'll go away. (voluntarily or not)

i think for a forum this size and this popular, spamming is very rare, the exception rather than the norm. no annoying "bot" bugs infecting the database, and the human spammers can be easily fixed by the admins. i think its great the way the board stays quite clean and spam-free, making it even more useful for us! again, kudos to the team

True, but we do have our share of 1-shot insulters...I mean 1-shot posters.
