ok at school we have to write a book for grade threes about if we think that people should go into space or not and make them think the same as us. So what do you think? && How much has the hubble telescope cost so far and are they done spending money on it?

Show them things that NASA has inadvertently invented over the years by developing space equipment, such as:

-Cordless electronics
-Smoke detectors
-Certain types of home insulation

we defiantly should be in space, the more we go the more we learn. and at some point are planet will end up thrashed, either by environmental change or some cosmic event like an asteroid impact or gamma ray burst, we essentially have all of our eggs in one basket right now, and that's not a good thing.

so far as the cost of the hubble, probably more than any of us can visualize, but it is worth it for how much it has shown us about the size of the universe and the existence of planets orbiting other stars, plus some of the images it returns can be quite beautiful, for example: http://chronicle.uchicago.edu/050303/hubble-nebula.jpg
