space people, preferably in colorado?

if you look at hte moon RIGHT NOW, you might notice a strange thing. dont look directly at the moon, or the ring of light it gives off. at the terminator poles, there are strange light things coming off towards the dark side of the moon, it is not noticable on a telescope, its not dirt on my glasses, its not the telescope lens dirty, im not even looknig through that. if you could please notice this anomaly thing, it loosk sorta like something you would see of to the side of a comet tail, or the light around a galaxy. i cant explain it, i suck at drawing and i dont have a camera, but if you can try and look at what im describing please tell me if you know what it is
i made a mistake with my vision, its not coming from the terminator, its coming from the edge of the light side, its like a comet sort of. apoligies to the terrible quality of my information

hmmmm, if I had to guess I would assume from where in the united states you are that it is gasses in the atmosphere bending the light around the moon with it's gravity, does it look kinda like a glow or a faint aurora, maybe like a really light cloud is is on one side sort of ? that is my guess, I can't think of that many other things it could be that are probable.
