At least three people suffered minor injuries when a Southwest Airlines plane landed at LaGuardia Airport  with a nose gear problem, which eyewitnesses described as a " nose gear collapse."
The airport is closed until further notice, the Port Authority said.
The front of the Boeing 737 can be seen resting on the runway and the plane's emergency chutes have been deployed, but passengers remain on the plane.  Southwest flight 345 took off from Nashville.
"Standby for more information regarding #Flight345 BNA-LGA," the airline tweeted. "We are gathering details and will post a statement soon."
