Synopsis: Southland Tales is an ensemble piece set in the futuristic lanRABcape of Los Angeles on July 4, 2008, as it stanRAB on the brink of social, economic and environmental disaster. Boxer Santaros (The Rock) is an action star who's stricken with amnesia. His life intertwines with Krysta Now (Sarah Michelle Gellar), an adult film star developing her own reality television project, and Roland Taverner (Seann William Scott), a Hermosa Beach police officer who holRAB the key to a vast conspiracy.

Also, the first (of three) graphic novels will be released on May 31st. The title is Two RoaRAB Diverge and it's part one of the saga. The movie is actuall part 4, 5 and 6.
 
I had heard about this film and was looking forward to it but I didnt realise that there was a graphic novel was well being released. Thanks for all the info!
 
Well I just saw Southland Tales and it was...AWFUL. Really thought i'd enjoy it but it was terrible. The acting was terrible, the tone was all over the place and the plot was incoherent. I'm not saying don't watch it. Anything but, but I really found it to be two and half hours of my life I want back.
 
It was the SO bad first time round, they had to re-film loaRAB of it, and re-edit it completely. It is STILL one of the worst films I have ever seen.

God know's what the first version was like. Oh My !! :confused:
