New South Park continues tonight at 10 PM Eastern on Comedy Central. This week:

Oh, and the opening scene? Fantastic. The Japanese came, attacked the whales, and left, leaving the "what just happened" sense that really good SP episodes open up with. And now time for the Wale Wars spoof.

Okay, I had no idea what was supposed to be the thing made fun of. I thought Whale Wars was something made up for South Park. But a quick search of Wikipedia says that Animal Planet actually has a show called Whale Wars. Had no idea there was an actual controversy.


Don't really find the characterization of Japanese people funny, but I expect nothing more given the history of the show.
