I'm writing a report for my communications and popular culture class, and it's over a controversial south park episode - awesome.
For you that have seen the Trapped in the Closet (Scientology) episode this question is for you!
I have to write a paper discussing how pop culture was used in this episode, and how it affected pop culture.. I already have a lot of research. How Issac Hays quit after the episode aired, also the threats of Tom Cruise (that were later denied) if they didn't pull the episode..
I just need to brainstorm some critical thinking.
- How did this really effect popular culture?
- Why was it so confrontational?
I love south park and I have some loose ideas, I just need some help solidifying a thesis statement and getting these ideas all put together. Any info. helps! Thanks guys!
