Hi. I am getting into developing applications in the Apple iOS to be applied for either the iPhone, iTouch, or the iPad for the company I am currently employed at. We are exploring the possible functions that we can use for the Apple products. I have been to the Apple store recently and noticed that the staff are able to use their iPhone or iTouch to swipe your credit card to pay for the item I am purchasing from them. I did some research and found companies are making applications so that you can make pay for a purchase via credit card directly from the iPhone or iTouch. I want to apply this to our internal needs so that customers with membership cards who qualify for free products we give away. For example, instead of setting up computer workstations, we can simply deploy iPhone, iTouch or iPads out to employees who can simply walk around and swipe customer membership cards from the iPhone, iTouch or iPads then a receipt is printed and the customer can just simply go to a specific location to pick up their free item.
