Sore Throat

About 2 days ago I met a girl and we had french kissed for a decent time and she even accidently hit my lip and cut it and now for the last two days when i drink or swallow anything it hurts...could this be anything serious?
 
most likely, it's just a sore throat. if you want to put your mind at ease, or if it lasts more than a day or two, see a doctor.
 
I'd definitely see a doctor. Same thing happened to me not long ago... except about 4 or 5 days later I got a terrible inflammation on my tonsils and couldn't swallow for a couple of days - tonsilitis. I took some antibiotics and about two days later it cleared up. You could have strep, mono, or any other viral/bacterial infections. A doctor can help determine what the problem is and cure it in a couple of days.
 
Okay so i saw the doctor and he said it is not mono but now my neck is swollen i get tired a lot from doing nothing my saliva smells really bad and it keeps producing a lot of saliva it hurts to swallow anything and i am not sure if this has anything to do with it but i have had 1 wisdom tooth removed but the side that has 2 of them are way swollen what is this?
 
Dear guy1989 - Mono usually requires some kind of test. He got the results already? I would see another doc.....cuz this doesn't sound like "oh, you just have a cold" to me.... Sherbear38
