Sooo, have a problem, with a Jeep?

Alright, so here I am, have a new boyfriend, trying to be the good girlfriend. Ha-ha. Last week or so here, He's been working on his baby. 1992 Jeep Cherokee. He replaced the whole clutch system, Slave and all. And now that its done, it STILL isn't working right. The clutch pedal only returns half way. Any idea why it might be doing this? and what we can do to fix it? Need to buy parts? A simple fix he simply overlooked? Websites with help on this? anything at this point is helpful! Thanks!
 
If the clutch pedal does not return usually means the clutch pedal spring is broke,stretched out,came off of holder or just missing.
Is the clutch working properly (shifts smoothly) ?
