Soon to be first time Mommie wants the absolute best car seat/stroller made.?

Ok Mommies and Daddies..... I am absolutely overwhelmed with all the baby products that are out there...I have no idea where to start. Of course we all want the very best products for our babies, but sometimes it is not always the most convenient or the easiest to operate. I'm getting really nervous as our due date draws closer and I don't have the first thing for our new baby. I figured I'd start with a car seat/stroller combo. So my question is....of all of the car seat/stroller combos (regardless of price or name brand) what do you parents find to be the one you could not live without. I would like to have one that the newborn faces me and can switch to forward facing as the baby grows.

This is the one I have for my son. The carseat was great, we used it up until 6 months and then moved him into his Britax. The stroller is awesome, very easy to maneuver. He was sitting in the stroller without the carseat at 5.5 months and it has a wonderful strap system, so I'm not worried in the least about him falling out of the stroller.
