Maybe you just bought a deffective one. I have four Z520's before (2 I've given away) and never had any problems with them. You shouldn't bash a handset in general just because one didn't work out right. And you know, if you bought it new, you do have warranty on it to either have it fixed or replced. If it was bought through your carrier, you can just have it replaced. If it was bought through an authorized SE dealer, all you have to do is pay for the shipping to have it shipped to a repair center.
