sony vegas pro 9.0 help, please :(?

Well, I was working on a video when something that says "Sony vegas has stopped working" or something like that, so i clicked send. I re-opened my vegas- knowing my video was still there, well- this happened 3 times! Two out of three, I did the same exact thing and continued to work on my video. The third time it happened I did the same thing, but then when i tried to continue on my video, "POOF!" 11 hours straight of work was gone! I looked through all of my files, opened all of them to my vegas and nothing! It's almost like it completely vanished! What in the world happened to it?! Is there anyway to get it back? :[
