Sony Vegas HD Platinum 10/Premiere Pro CS5?

question man

Hey, everyone I'm having trouble with these two video editing softwares.
Okay so first off, with Vegas, in the timeline I have very great effects done with certain pixelations for certain portions of clips. I've pixelated certain people so that they can't be identified, but when I choose the render/make-a-movie option/(s), two things happen:
1. The final .avi file won't play on Windows Movie Player
2. The pixelation effects are less-looking like how they were on the timeline, making pixelated people recognizable.

Anyone know how I can fix these problems? I want to have a finalized video clip from Vegas and put it into Premiere Pro CS5, but the finalized .avi file from Vegas isn't readible to put into Premiere Pro. I need to know if there is a way to solve both of those two problems listed above, but if not...

...then on Premiere Pro CS5, does anyone know of a way I can pixelate certain people, and also to change pitches of certain audio? I can't figure these out, and so that's why I wanted to keep my Vegas timeline and somehow get it onto Pro and export it from there because exported media from Pro always works and is exactly how it was on the timeline, but Vegas is pissing me off (lol). In short, I just want a project exported to be able to playback on Windows Movie Player, but to play exactly how it was in the timeline. Please help! Thanks.
