Sony Reader PDF Font?

I have a sony reader in which i download pdf's so when i tried pttin a pdf in it and read the book i realized the font was too small so I pressed the zoom button on it( i usually do that and it works) but this time the words on the screen jumbled up and you cannot do anything and the font is too small please help
