I now have the Emerson LTDN42V68US 42" that I ordered from Walmart on Black Friday sitting in my living room. I also have the Sony KDL40S5100 40" on the way, but I don't have it yet. I paid the same for both of them.
I'm debating on which one I should return.
The Sony should have a better picture and it should be a more reliable set. The reliability factor is why I ordered the Sony because I started reading reviews of Emersons after I ordered it.
Should the 2" size difference even be a factor?
I'm currently leaning towards keeping the Sony once I receive it and returning the Emerson.
