I wanted the Sony Ericsson Xperia Play ever since it was announced on a commercial during the Super Bowl as the "Playstation Phone". (lol thumbs sewn on android) Over time I learned it was being sold by verizon and being the brainless buyer, I got the phone- contract and all.I bought it in the end of july and I Ive regretted it ever since. The phone is CDMA and has verizon 2.3.2 android firmware and is heavily stripped in comparison to everything the original firmware has. I don't even use 3g or any of the phone crap. How can I get rid of the verizon firm? What firm do I replace it with? Is there a way to do this without spending money?
