Hi I'm at a phone crisis dilemma! Two things that are very important to me for a phone is that it has to be classy looking (I'm a business major) and it has to have quality. I handle my equipment really well and plan to keep this phone for about 2 years. Depending on the situation, I probably won't be using the internet.
Things I need with my phone:
-Good Keyboard- I text a lot (this is why I like the xperia phone).
-Lots of Contact Space
-Good battery life (talk time 6-10 hrs)
-Organization (I will put my life on it from constant schedule changing to inputting all my passwords)
-Durability (I may drop it 1 or 2 times, but I hate seeing scratches or it dying b/c of it)
Don't want:
-Don't want to have to keep taking out the batteries to restart it. (my friend has to do this with her blackberry curve)
Things I like about the Xperia X1:
-The large slider keyboard.
-It's made out of a solid metal case, instead of BB's plastic one.
-The simple keys on the main screen for call and end call etc.
-Very cool features (innovative panel designs- good to please other eyes, java, music, radio)
Things I don't like about the Xperia x1:
-No insurance on it (at least in my case)
-Don't really like the look of the few buttons on the main screen.
-Might lag a little.
-Scratches easily?
-I heard some buttons pop out easily.
Things I like about the BlackBerry Bold 9700:
-Will have insurance on it.
-Light
-Classy, popular
-Pictures on screen look very good.
-I can bbm anyone around the world
-I heard it can organize as well as the Xperia x1
Things I don't like about the Blackberry bold:
-Keyboard is squished.
-Not touch screen.
-Battery life (is not as great as Xperia x1?)
-Made out of plastic, will break easy and look cheap?
Sorry for all the read, hopefully it was "skimmable." : )
I really want to pick the perfect phone for me at this time with the proper phones out there.
Thanks so much!!<3
