Sony Ericsson Vivaz won't turn on?

I've had the Vivaz for about 5 days now, and it was working a dream. Recently, half way through a phone call, it ran out of power. After I left it on charge for 4 hours, I went to turn it back on. Now it won't. The phone will vibrate to signal it's turned on but nothing appears on the screen, no Sony label or anything.
Before I send it off to be fixed, I wondered if there were any ways to fix this?
 
I only get the Sony Ericsson logo and nothing else. had to send it off 2 times already with the exact same problem!
