Try setting your phone to appear as a mass storage device. This oiption should be available when you connect your phone to the laptop. Then you will be able to see all the files in your memory card, that is in your phone. The VCF files should be under a file called something like "Other files". One you've found the VCF files you can copy and paste them with Windows expolrer.

Hi All,

This may seem a little bit strange, but I have a SE G705 mobile, and recently, was having some problems with the software playing around. I decided to backup all my contacts to the memory card and use the SE Update utility to reinstall the software. After that was done successfully and the phone went back to normal, then restored my contacts list from memory card - an option under "Contacts > Options > More > Advanced" - then tried searching for the contacts list on the memory card, but no sign of it.

I know VCF files are usually used for these purposes, but not in this case.
I enabled file extensions, hidden files, and Windows Protected files, but no sign of it anywhere on the memory stick.

I wanna back up the file on the laptop and delete it from the memory card.

Kindly assist,

Thanks a lot lzh4950
It was a hidden folder named System only viewable when in "Mass Storage" mode.

Thanks a million :)
