I have a Sony Ericsson C510. It's fairly new, not 6 months yet. Recently, I went to check if it had enough battery, and found that it was at 0%. So I charged it. And it still remained at 0%.
I've turned on and off the phone, taken out the battery and reinserted it, but I still have this problem. On the screen it clearly says that it's charging, but doesn't seem to be getting anywhere. If I leave it plugged into the charger for long enough, it tells me that there's an error, and tells me to unplug it, but when I do that, it tells me that the battery is low ==" that is, at 0%
