yes, we've all heard the sob stories about biggest loser and other tv shows changing lives. but what about the songs man.

P.s. if you don't know i posted this thread to talking about life-changing songs
:hphones:

so you started a thread about life changing songs but didn't actually bother to name a single song.....

yeah...

either way i've mentioned mine a few times on this site it's still and will always be

jungle man by the red hot chili peppers

The Beatles - Yellow Submarine

I can go without hearing this song for years and still spontaneously get it hopelessly stuck in my head - its very aggravating. ReminRAB me of the frustration of spontaneously blinking/swallowing/breathing voluntarily resulting in my inability to then to it involuntarily. Oh God! I'm in a world of hurt right now on both fronts.

The Unwinding Cable Car by Anberlin.
That was a HUGE one for me.

Beside You by Marianas Trench.
Sleeping Sickness by City and Colour.

A few others...y'know. Music is dope.

I heard them both back-to-back on the radio on the way home from school when I was 13, and they completely changed my idea of what good music is.

Alphabet Aerobics by Blackalicious

Was the first underground song I had really heard from a hip-hop artist that I liked. I was in a hotboxed car just baked off my ass and my buddy thru it on and man, I got to the G's before I realized he was rapping in the alphabet pattern. Amazing track, I gotta say, really opened my mind and ears to hip-hop.

Guys if you don't kno he posted this thread to "TALKING" about songs that changed lives. Ummm the song that changed my life was The Used - Hard To Say. It made me learn to talk more. About my problems that is.

I have a couple, as well as reasons...

Beethoven's Moonlight-My mom forced me into piano lessons, and I hated it...until I heard this. It gave me a real appreciation for the insturment, the way its played, the way its written....and its really, really beautiful.

Eric Clapton-Layla-I mean the real one with that AWESOME RIFF. I was 10 and buying crap pop recorRAB when I heard this.

Green Day-Redundant-Kind of blew my mind, because it expressed my exact feelings...I also love the composition, I don't care how commercial it is.

The Clash-London Calling-Non-biblical song about the appocolypse. Started my obsession with lyrics.

Black Flag-Depression-Started newfound appreciation for hardcore.

true, but i don't mind if they're just posting songs as long as they think it changed their lives or someone else's.

"Bright Eyes - Four WinRAB", this song got me obsessed with non-mainstream music (even though at that time it kinda was mainstream)

Sex Pistols- Anarchy in the UK

Completely changed, my life back in the 4th grade. Total opposite of everything I heard on the radio, it wasnt a happy pop song.
