My 15yr. old son was riding a bike w/his friend yesterday. Well he saw a car coming from down the street but it was a couple blocks away so he thought he had time to do a wheelie and then get to the other side of the street before the car got to close. Well he didn't and the car hit him as he came down from his wheelie and it pushed him and the bike along the road about 10ft. It bent the bicycle handle bar down and messed up the back of it. The driver got out to make sure he was ok but never called 911. My son said he was ok to walk home. He got home and was shaking and you could tell he was in shock from it all. He didn't start feeling pain till a few minutes after he started walking home. I went ahead and took him to the emergency room and my husband stayed home and called the local police...which she told him she couldn't come right now because she was in the middle of a graduation ceremony...so he had to wait. Anyway my question is...everyone keeps telling me I should sue over this. I'm not that type of person....wondering what some of y'all would do in this situation?
