I was driving heard a noise and fourth went out and then a bunch of others went. My car is a 1997 Aspire. Manual transmission. I need to know if this is a problem worth fixing or if I should just get rid of my car. Any help would be appreciated greatly ,thanks.
Just put in the tranny about 4-5 months ago. Did it myself with the help of a friend that works on cars. Didn't replace the clutch. Got some fluid on the clutch tho. The clutch has been a bit loose. The tranny didn't cost too much, about $150-200. Don't really remember. I have a guy wanting to buy the car for $250. I don't have too much cash for a new used car. Scrap yards around here will pay $6 per 100lb. Its only about 2000lbs.... maybe. It's a small car but the gas milage was awesome. 33+!
