okay first off i have a 2001 dodge stratus SE.
so this is what happened. the other day i was turning into my driveway and my steering wheel locked up for like 2 seconds and then it went normal and i finished turning in.
so when that happened the air bag light came on and when i turned the wheel after i was stopped it made a kinda of crunching noise??
what could be wrong and how much would it be to fix ??
please help!

no my driveway isnt gravel. but the crunching sound is very light. you can barely hear it and im no sure if its a cruch sound or something else. im not sur how to exlain it.
