i was driving the scooter for about 15 minutes. the speed was about t 60 KMH and it can go about 70 KMH so i don't think the engine was being driven to hard......when i came home i let go of the gas and hit both brakes. when i went to hit the gas again the scooter didn't sound right....it sounds kind of muffled and not as loud as it should be. also now when i hit the gas you can hear the motor trying to make the tire spin but it barley makes a different sound in the motor and the tire wont spin at all.
i checked the spark plugs and their good. before this incident the scooter was actually at a high idle so i don't think its the idle. i adjusted the air fuel mixture before this happened and the scooter worked perfect when it was warmed up. i did not touch the mixture of idle while i was driving so i don't think it was either one of those..... i think it has something to do with the carburetor cause the motor has great compression you can hear it. i am thinking it might need a new diaphragm.
