I have a 1989 buick electra T type. which is in beautiful shape btw. anyway when i was driving last night i noticed the RPM was moving up and down fast and then the engine was making a weird noise is tarted driving and it was chugging the whole way back home and didnt have much acceleration to it. when i got home i turned it off and waited 5mins and then it wouldnt start at all. the next morning i start it up and the RPM goes all the way to 3 and it sounds like it was reeving and going faster. i moved it to my backyard and it literally was driving its self without me using the gas pedal. i let it rest for about 6hours and now everything is normal agian? whats going on! is it my catalytic converter? the muffler always makes a chugging sound to
