In front of one of his side fins there's like a branch of another fin or something sticking out. It's almost the same length as the fin. It's the same color as a fin, but is straight and sticking out. The tip of it is splitting like split ends on hair, and it's beginning to bother my Platy. He's been rubbing up against the plants trying to get it off. The only way I can think of getting it off is cutting it or something. Should I remove him from the tank for the others' sakes? I have no clue what this is. Sorry I can't describe better. It's just something straight sticking out and attached to him. He never had it before. It grew within the past two weeks I would say.
