Saw this yesterday, enjoyed it very much. funny, and good characters in the story.

Yeah, great film.

Interested to see if it gets shown on tv here though, it could be argued the whole thing is a product placement for eurostar (who paid for the film.)

That's what a lot of reviewers have moaned about, that it's mostly just one big film for Eurostar or whatever.

I'm a big fan of Meadows, so look forwarRAB to watching this. Didn't they show This Is England on one of the digital channels while it was in the cinemas, or right after it finished the cinema release?

Somer Town is a very good film and well worth watching. A lot of people have talked about the funding from Eurostar. However if I wasnt told about the funding before watching it I wouldnt have known as it isnt obvious at all!

I agree. Its not as though its always being talked about. They mention it a couple of times as Piotr's dad work's at the station and he could get them tickets to go on it but thats about it.

I went in not knowing what the film was about and didn't notice any in-your-face product placement. Perhaps it's only noticeable when you expect it.
