Someone hit my car; doesn't want to file it on their insur. & doesn't want me to take...

...it to the Lexus dealer? The car is 2 years old and immaculate. It was legally parked across from their house and they backed into it and are admitting fault. He doesn't want to file but I think that it will be an expensive repair & would feel more comfortable about taking it to the Lexus dealer where I bought it that has always done the repairs. Can I specify who works on it? How do I handle the rental car? I don't know what to do - should I call my insurance agent?

I've never been in a wreck so any advice would be helpful. Thanks in advance!
