Easily, the Camaro is cheaper, it's engine is familiar and easy to mod. If i remember correctly Road and Track tested the Shelby and Camaro and the Shelby did a 12.9 1/4mi to the Camaro's 13.0. Not to mention it has independent rear suspension and would prob smoke the competion around a road course.
