that sucks I know how you feel, happened a few times to me. Is the scratch thru the paint and is the primer visible? If its just thru the clear its a pretty easy fix.
get yourself some clearcoat, and reducer. clean the area thoroughly with a amonia based spray like windex. mask around the scratch about a inch on either side, gently wet sand with a 1000 grit paper in a zig zag fashion until the area is translucent. clean the area when finished sanding. fill the scratch and chip in with a small detail brush, or match stick. I prefer to use a small painters brush, medium firmness, cut the brush tip so only about a centimeter of brush is left. you will need to apply the clear coat a few times until the clearcoat is higher then the factory clear. let it sit for a day. wet sand useing a small block with 1000 grit until the touch up is level with the rest of the clear. remove the masking sand out the masked area until the masked edges are gone, about two inches from the original masked edge. airbrush clear over sanded area blending the new clear into the original clear. let sit for a couple of days then buff out useing a medium polish then a fine grit polish.
