Some stuff to do with my new 1991 Jeep Wrangler?

So I got my first car today and it is a 1991 Jeep Wrangler. We had a mechanic check it out before we bought it and he said it was in great shape and to defiantly buy it cause the guy was selling it for only two grand. But it does have some faults. First off the radio is broken so I'm going to buy a new one that is compatible with an ipod. I would also like to add some speakers in it since it only had two tiny ones. Also, all the interior carpet is ripping out and my friend told me you could bring it to a place where they rip it all out and spray like plastic in it? He didn't give me all the details but have you ever heard of this? Also give me some suggestions of what I can add to it and how much everything will cost including the radio and speakers.
