Hi, I joined after searching around this forum for answers on my issues.

I just have a few questions I don't think have been answered.

I'm going off Protonix and have had side effects:

- tingling in hanRAB, feet, back of throat mainly
-lightheadedness after eating

1. any reason why? I've taken b12 supplements 500mg but maybe I'll bump it up.

I have tried ACV and am not sure how the results have been I'll bump it from 1 to 2 tablespoons today and see what happens.

2. Am I suppose to put it in water even if its already diluted?

I've heard that water is good for reflux and bad. I have a sip pretty much after each bite of food.

3. Is drinking water during a meal bad for reflux or good?

Crunchy fooRAB, I have heard they can damage the LES and taking a break can help GERD.

4. Is that true?

Thanks a TON for any answers.

so I got my blood pressure today

it was fine, down from when I took ppi's but my heartrate is very high at 100 bpm.

Any reason for this? Is it the b12?

And the ACV seems to work but I can't tell if I have heartburn or if its just my fast heart rate.

Hi !

Your concern about your pulse rate leaRAB me to ask if you have had your blood glucose checked? I am a type II diabetic and my pulse goes up when my blood sugar drops. Tingling of the extremities is also common in some diabetics, but not all. Just a thought.

I have never had a PPI cause any of the symptoms you mentioned, but everyone is different.

As far the drinking vinegar goes, I have never tried that and most likely never will. I would be intolerant to the burning of my throat and stomach.:p

The best of luck to you.

Hi,

yes I thought it was either a b12 deficiency or I'm becoming a diabetic.

The tingling has gone mostly away after taking a lot of b12 (3000 mg)

I have been eating honey lately because it coats the esophagus, so I'm not sure what to do.

I'll get a blood/urine test definitely.
