Some questions about New York universities?

Ive already asked a question like this but i never got much response.. so heres some questions that it would be great if you could answer

1. If i live in the UK would i be able to go to a university in New York? And would they give me a Student Visa thing?

2. What are the chances of actually being accepted into a university there since im British?

3. If i was able to get to university there, would i get financial help and/or housing?

and 4. Are there any good websites you would recommend me to look at for informations about universities there?
 
You should probably talk to (or e-mail) the Admissions people at the colleges you're interested in. They are accustomed to dealing with students from other countries. One thing I do know is they will have to certify you as a full-time student for you to get a student visa.
