Here is some poetry I wrote when I was 12. Wow, Im glad Ive improved over the years. 
"Diary"
Oh me
Oh my
Oh how Id like to touch the sky
To fly way up high above the clouds
To scream, shout and be real loud
Oh my
Oh me
Oh how Id like to do and see
All those wondrous things
That are only found in books and dreams
But lets just keep that between you and me
"Mrs Bore"
No more
No more
Cant take no more
For listening to her is such a chore
I watch as little perfect Jane
Listens so attentively
Maybe its just me but I cant see
Whats the big fuss
For personally Id rather be
Squashed on the bus
No more
No more
Cant take no more
For she makes everything
Just about as interesting as
A rotting apple core
