Some people at school always comparing military vs police?

Theres this guy at my school that are always comparing my dad to their dads. They always say their dads are stronger and more intelligent than mine (their dads are marines, my dad is a homicide detective) I think the strength factor is debateable but intelligence, i think my dad wins in. Honestly i dont even like to compare these 2 but those people at my school are ignorant? Which occupation takes more knowlege and more strength?
 
this has been going on for thousands of years. it,s your turn right now. this will stop being an issue as you all get older.
