Rotary engines use a lot leswss displacement for equal power ofcylinder engines.

the 12A rotary engine is 1.3
13B rotary engine is 1.8
each engine has two rotors, low displacement make engine revs more faster than high displacement engines like V6 and higher but rotary has a lack of torque

Writing it as 1.3L or 1300cc, is the same thing.
So you don't really have a question.
It's like asking if a mile is 1 mile, or 5280 feet, and asking if it's true.
And practically all RX-7s have a 1.3, or 1300cc engine.

yes it is a small 1.3 liter 4 cyl. engine but you can build that engine to beat V8's like they are sitting in water.
