Some kinda sister-in-law help?

Ok. So I'm engaged, not married. I'm pretty close with his family though. His sister-in-law I have seen more than a few times at family events, and she has never been rude. So I am doing a lot of training for volunteer work, and she happens to be a speaker at my training tonight.
Last week, she told my fiances brother, whom she has been married to for almost 5 years, that she doesn't love him and is better than him and kicked him out. The brother is now living with my fiance. I like his brother, and get along with him well.
I guess I'm just not sure how to handle to situation. Her and I were good aquaintences. Do I talk to her like normal? Do I ask how she is doing. My fiance and his brother I know will be upset if they know I was friendly to her, but I don't want to be rude. Any suggestions?
 
Be cordial, not friendly. Unfortunately in this situation, you do have a loyalty to your fiance. You don't have to be buddy buddy with her, but you do need to treat her with respect. She sounds like a horrible person though.
