I bought a 2007 Dodge Caliber about a year and a half ago. A few months ago, my driver's side headlight went out. high beams still work on that side, but not low beams. I changed the bulb, and it didn't work. Then the guy at Autozone changed the bulb 3 times in case it was a bad bulb (didn't charge for it). I changed the fuse, still not working. Any ideas what this could be?
Also, lately it's been shaking when I go 60-65 mph +. The steering wheel shakes back and forth equally. It still goes in a straight line, it just shakes. It was barely noticeable a couple months ago, but now it's definitely rough going. I have had 3 flat tires - both on the passenger side, and both fixed with Fix-A-Flat because between 4 people, nobody could get either wheel off on that side. The front driver's side has also gone flat, been replaced once, and fixed with Fix-A-Flat just the other day. I just checked air pressures today and they're all fine, sitting right at 32 psi on all 4. What might this be? Do I just need to get a front end alignment?
And finally, the check engine light came on a couple months ago. It went on and off a few times, then eventually stayed on. I took it to Autozone and they said they weren't sure what it was, but it may be something about a manifold somethingorother being stuck open (yeah, real specific, sorry). Is this anything I should worry about? Gas mileage is still great, runs fine until I get to that 60-65 point and starts shaking. They turned the light off, and a few days later it came on again and has stayed on. It's not the gas cap, I have checked it multiple times. Last car I had (Sable) the light came on and my catalytic converters were bad (multiple catalytic converters...ugh) so I was slightly paranoid that it may be the same thing.
