I have one Betta in a 2 litre ( half a gallon ) tank ( no other fish ), with some pebbles and some fake plants. I change its water ( whole ) every week, I let the water ( tap water ) sit 24hrs before the change. I clean the tank. Ah, at the pet store they told me that I should put a drop of this water conditioner in the water; the bottle says: "Special for Bettas", it claims to neutralize the chlorine, heavy metals, etc. Anyway I put a drop of it every water change.
I feed him TetraBetta floating mini pellets twice a day. I do the mirror thingie once a day and talk to him sometimes. My questions are:
1- Does my Betta requires a filter, taking into account that I change the water and clean the tank every week?
2- Does the water conditioner is neccesary?
3- Am I feeding him too much? The pellets are about the size of its eyes.
** Any suggestions will be appreciated, thanks a lot. 10 points.
