Some fluid has risen to the top of my big jug of salsa. Is it probably safe to use?

might be actually a good thing, if the use by date is still ok and the salsa was stored as it is supposed to be.
the company was using not to much stabilizer to keep the sauce an uniform gunk of liquid. that's why solids settle at the bottom an liquid comes to the top.
 
My family uses from these slowly, but it seems to never have happened before. Not so much in the body but at the handle has risen like a half inch of yellow fluid. It smells OK. Should it be safe to use after shaking?
