Some chemistry questions.?

3. When passed over hot copper oxide, hydrogen acts as
-catalyst
-an oxidizing agent
-a reducing agent
-a solute

5. The safest way to make hydrogen in the laboratory is to add hydrochloric acid to
-calcium
-iron
-potassium
-sodium

8. Hydrogen is
-less dense than air and inert
-very soluble in water and combustible
-orderless and a reducing agent
-denser in air and tasteless

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

3)cuo + h2------->>>cu + h20 since copper got reduced.. Hydrogen acts as an reducing agent( oxidises itself)
5) Iron the metal shud be less reactive to ensure safety

8) Not really sure id go with option 3 though odourless and reducing agent....not sure abt the rest of the options
