Not saying "they are the best" but now a days, they are the most cost effective solution.

Pretty much all panels at 20+ year warranties at rated power, etc,etc,etc..

Evergreens have been close to the most expensive on the market. I have a few Siemens SM55's and 75's from the late 90's, now they are Shell Solar but have 25+ year ratings.

Thing is, what is going to happen to mine and the millions of other Evergreen clients who bought panels?

Suntech has the lowest watt/dollar in the industry and you can even buy their laminates also.

I have some of theirs on my garage, and they put out just as good as the EG's..

Just sucks to buy Asian

$1.2 billion just lost to Solyndra... Evergreen took $800+ million in our tax payers cash, tried to move to Asia and then could not compete..

We should just stop, and let China take over...

Bag groceries here in SoCal starting at $19/hr (my buddy)

Sit on your ass all day in a forklift for Boeing in Long Beach and make $35/hr PLUS bennies (my other buddy)...

EDIT: my friend at Boeing STILL FUCKING complains that he doesn't get enough!! (aka.... dock loader)
 
Pretty hard to compete against Chinese manufacturing.

I do like how Solyndra spent millions on that fancy new building off 680 even as they were hemorrhaging money
 
Yeah, I'm all about supporting American products, especially on big things like this, but when their cost just doesn't work for what they're offering..
 
You're right.

Corporations should be able to pay whatever they'd like, not give benefits, not pay overtime after 40 hours a week and work 7 days a week.
