...getting different results? I am solving teaching myself systems of equations using Gaussian Elimination and its working
I am now using the method of determinants to solve the same systems (which I am assuming to be to use Cramers Rule?) but getting different results - however both sets of results are solving the equations. Does this have something to do with the fact that Gaussian is reducing values whereas the Determinants method doesn't. At the outset I expected to get the same results for both methods - can someone please explain as I don't want to go any further if I'm doing something crazy!!! Thanks in advance.
